Breath, Body, Stillness: Yoga Nidra
Come home to your body, one breath at a time.
This is a guided Yoga Nidra practice built around breath and body awareness, more grounded and physical than a typical meditation, closer to the slow, deliberate pacing of a Hatha practice. No experience needed. Just a place to lie down and permission to feel what’s already here.
Yoga Nidra is often called yogic sleep, but it’s really something more precise than that. It’s a practice of moving the body into a state between waking and sleeping, where the nervous system can shift out of fight or flight and into true rest. In this version, we move slowly through the body breath by breath, building the kind of body awareness that carries with you long after the practice ends.
This practice draws from Hatha yoga’s slow, deliberate pacing, breath paired with awareness, moving through the body one part at a time instead of rushing toward stillness. You’re not being guided away from the body. You’re being guided further into it.
Find a quiet place to lie down. Use props if you need them. Let your breath lead the way.
